In this great Seattle weather...

I'll be sitting in one of the few uncovered sections of Qwest Field tonight. for $80/seat. Temporary seating, even.

moral: don't let your wife and her friend get tickets for fucking ANYTHING.

Yeah seriously.

Exec 1: "Hey lets have a football game on a week night. Lets kick off at 5:30, right in the middle of rush hour."

Exec 2: "Great idea Jim."

Also, I'm going to laugh when they close 520 in a few hours due to wind. Fun times.

"SR 520 -Crews will likely close the SR 520 bridge at 11 p.m. tonight due to forecasted high winds. We may need to close the bridge as early as 9 p.m. if conditions warrant. Crews are closely monitoring the bridge, weather conditions, and weather forecasts. The bridge will reopen to traffic when winds are calm again. This could be as late as noon on Friday December 15."

Have fun getting home.

It's not raining up here in Seattle (Ballard) right now.

I take 99 home every day from work, no problems around 3pm, but I'm sure it got worse closer to the start time at 5pm.

And yes, the 5:30 start time is insane. That was the decision of the NFL, actually. They're shooting for prime time television audiences on the East coast, even though both teams are on the West coast.

Hopefully the weather will be better next Sunday for the Seahawks-Chargers game, since I'll be there.

Man the power is TRYING SO HARD to go out, but it just cant. Better get my console gaming in before I have to switch to portables!

Also weather Saturday and Sunday will be fine. Wind will be gone. It WILL be raining despite the temps in the low 40s. Ive been watching weather like a hawk since im driving to the coast and back this weekend.

The power went out for a second at work tonight and set off the fire alarms.

Man those things are annoying. They're of the modern kind and make me want to kill myself.

Oh hey, that's my team!!

It's too bad they haven't been good since I was young. I totally had a vintage Montana jersey, though.

So my school district I work for is closed today due to the weather, looks like I get a three day weekend before Christmas break!

Apparently this storm was worse than the Inauguration Day storm back in 1993... at least 520 didn't sink this time.
