Yeah, I like the idea it was actually the smoke monster who wrote it. The names were written pretty chaotically which is unlike all the imagery that has been associated with Jacob so far.

Also, the new lost thread on gaf was so awesome. Too bad Duckroll locked it.

At this point I really feel like my mind has been totally raped by this show, much more so than the first few seasons. Although I feel like I can start piecing shit together at this point, which is finally relieving any stress the end of season five brought.

they keep hinting that things are a little more ambiguous than being simply good vs. evil (jacob's "bargains"), but i know that's all it will boil down to in the end, and we know who'll "win," and i hate jack, so i can go ahead and make an educated guess i will hate the end of this show

It looks like the terms will be: Join team Locke and live a normal life (in the parallel timeline), or join team Jacob and sacrifice your life for something akin to the greater good. Pretty hard choice imo, depending on what's at stake in the sacrifice.

This was the first episode of Lost in awhile that didn't make me angry.

... Except the fact that the episode ran longer than what the DVR recorded, so I didn't get to see the end (I saw where Kate, Sayid and Claire were walking out and then it just STOPPED) or the preview. Did I miss anything?

Also, while slightly entertaining because it progressed the episode forward (an unusual direction for Lost!), Sayid's fall to the Dark Side was pretty rapid. He managed to go from a pretty decent guy to PURE EVIL in about fifteen minutes. We're talking Anakin/Episode III-like transformation. He was one scene away from raping teenage girls and then chopping their heads off.

the shot at the end was pretty bad ass.

episode overall was ok. decent 7/10

this season has been kinda disappointing to be honest. only one really awesome episode and the rest are just slumming it up with the typical lost routines. not really the EPIC ANSWER ANSWERS ANSWERS i was expecting.
