A long time ago, like back in Season 2, some guy claimed to have seen a MASTER DOCUMENT for the series. He was pretty off on some stuff, but his general theories are dead on. Everyone laughed at him at the time (Especially the idea that Hurley would be the most important character on the show), but maybe he was telling the truth

and Locke was never right. Season 5 was all about the long con MiB put on Locke so he could kill jacob. He was manipulated because he wanted to have faith for faith's sake and someone took advantage of that.

Interesting note, the young boy that appeared in this episode had darker hair and was taller than the boy who confronted MiB before. I'm guessing these boys are young jacob and young MiB projecting themselves through time.

No I'm pretty sure I'm right. Watch season 5 again.
My main point is that from the very beginning of the show, you can chart how MiB was pushing Locke along up to the point where he got killed by ben. A major point that pissed me off at the time was that it was dead Christian that insisted Locke needed to move the island, that he had a job to do,etc.
