For the past 3 months or so now he keeps accusing my aunt of cheating on him.  He calls her job harassing her with the foulest names ever, and keeps threatening to get a new apartment.  Meanwhile, my poor aunt, is honestly IMO doing nothing…she’s like the nicest lady EVER is just taking this abuse, and not doing anything about it.

So he tells my mom the other day that she better help him find somewhere to live quick or he might end up like one of the people on the news who kills his wife .  He now just calls me and said “can you help me move tonight!!!”.  I said I can’t I’m in school, I’d have to travel for hours to get home.  He then yells IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HELP ME JUST SAY SO, FUCK YOURSELF CHRIS.

Yup he had to stay with my mom for a week when he was really bad, my mom said she couldn't keep the tv on because he thought that the pictures were coming at him.  

He also accuses her of sleeping with everyone :\.  She does computer stuff for her local town, and she's around important officals all day, and he accuses her of sleeping with them all.

What a loon, and my mom tried to talk with him and he goes CRAZY if she even suggests consoling.  "I'm not crazy, you believe me!"

You know it's sad when a person doesn't want to go seek help because they're scared people are going to treat them like freaks.

Comfort him and try to tell him that going to counseling or to a psychiatrist is NOT a bad thing, and that he will only get worse if he doesn't seek treatment.

Christopher, your uncle really needs help. Delusions of persecution (the pictures coming at him from the TV) are very serious. He could be schizophrenic, could have severe bipolar II disorder with psychotic tendencies, could have any number of personality disorders...there's something wrong, and he needs help. And until he gets it, your aunt needs to find someplace else to stay because I really think her safety is in jeopardy and I bet the police would think so, too.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

That's not necessarily true. Some people don't believe they're mentally ill, some don't want treatment because they think they can deal with it themselves, some people are afraid of the stigma, some can't afford it.

Also, mentally ill people who accept their illness and seek treatment are just like anyone else and are totally fun to be around. It's the ones who don't get help that are the problem, which adds to society's stigma in the first place. Vicious cycle.

My uncle is my mom’s brother, and we come from a pretty nice family.  However, this guy is just really fucked up, totally.  Instead of going to college like my mom did he joined the service, and fulfilled a 4 year commitment to the US army.  Years later he came to stay with us, but I still remember as a kid he always had like old army friends who came over, and were just pure trash.  We come to find out that he had a cocaine and alcohol addiction…well that’s cool and all, so we decide to get him some help.
He went to AAA or what have you, until he was rehabilitated. 

 Then I remember years later he met this lady.  They got married this and that, I was at that wedding, and months, literally MONTHS later they got divorced.  I remembered my mom always waking up in the middle of the night, like screaming crying with him to stop.  He gets violent and aggressive, and apparently this lady (who worked in NYC’s port authority as some manager or something was screwing everyone there).  So apparently she was cheating on him…ok reasonable, why doubt him right?
Lets move on years later to his SECOND wife, now this lady was a bit shy I suppose, not really that outgoing.  He stayed with her about 2 years, and then guess what? 

Apparently she was going on AOL, and meeting men and fucking them…I still remember him telling my mom these stories about how she would apparently email people and bring them home and screw them…ok again, maybe twice you got it bad.

So the third time he hooks up with one of my mom’s good personal friends, I’ve known this lady too, I grew up with her kids…a sweetheart, truly, she’s like the nicest woman in the world.  Her husband was a real douche bag, he actually cleaned out her and her kids accounts, and left her bankrupt.

So my mom warns this lady going of what happened between his last two, and she accepted.  Year later boom their married, so that’s what 3 weddings I’ve been to with him lol?

So now I personally see this in action, and since I’m older I get story details….Apparently he calls her job calling her cunt, slut, whore, why are you fucking all these people behind my back.

 When they went to one of her kids football games, the guy she worked saw her, and waved, and she waved back, and he went apeshit…oh my god it was truly a sight to see.  So this has been going on for awhile now, and it’s coming full circle…it’s just scary, because I fear for this lady I’ve known forever too…

ANYTIME and I mean ANYTIME we try to say perhaps she’s not doing it and you might need help, he goes apeshit and say that we don’t believe him, and  accuses us of trying to hide stuff from him.  …wtf. 
After that little fiasco today I called my mom and told her, and she said she had about 5 voice mails from him with the same loony garbage and she gets them daily too…

I just don’t know what to do though…I mean really, it's easy to say "get him help", but how?  I mean I feel bad for my mom and my aunt who are bombarded by his stupid shit, going home for Christmas break I'll probably have to deal with this stupid shit too..
