So far, the initial unconfirmed info that surfaced a while ago on the game has stayed consistent. If it keeps up, that means the SF3 characters and at least one new face (an Arabian wrestler obsessed with body oil) should be the next to be revealed.

Adon is cool, Guy is boring, Cody is boring. Would have much rather had Rolento and Sodom or Birdie. SFIV needs more oddball characters. SF3 characters will be hot. New characters will be lolz. SSFIV part #2 with another 8 characters will be awesome because they'll be running out of old losers to port and be forced to make new characters! :O

Dudley, Ibuki, and Makoto.

From Alpha, I would have liked to have seen R. Mika, Karin, Rolento, and Sodom. From Three, I'd like to have Elena, Hugo, and Alex. Dudley and Ibuki are good choices. I was never much of a Makoto fan.

I love Dudley. He's the only character I care about in SSFIV. He's got mad style and being a non-charge boxer with a dragon punch he fucking rocks.

Makoto is cool but I wasn't very good with her. Don't like Ibuki much.

Don't need Alex. TvC has taught me that he's one of the more boring SF3 chars IMO.

Karin is hmmmmm, I always lumped her in the Sakura category of fast low-damage girls so I never used her. I like to stick with medium/slow medium/high damage chars. Hence why I don't like Ibuki either.

I like R. Mika but her design disturbs the hell out of me so I'm glad she's not in.

Damage depends on the game. Ibuki was one of the best 2i.

R. Mika ROCKS. Designs once again mean nothing since everyone gets an alt.

I wouldn't discount any of these characters, since they are going to play differently in SSF4. Some of the basic stuff will be intact, but like all the other returning characters, there will be plenty of changes.

I wouldn't mind it if Dudley just flat-out replaced Balrog. 'Rog is so fucking boring in SF4 (like Blanka!) and everyone plays him the same fucking way.

Alex in TvC is a bad representation of the character. He just doesn't fit in well with that game's play style.

Pretty sure Daigo used V-Akuma until he played Alex Valle and then switched it up to a V-Ryu. Not 100% sure though, never really followed Alpha 3.

I don't think this is going to stay; didn't they say they were changing the ranking system to work for individual characters? It's better that way, IMO. Just like the arcade version and like VF5 and Tekken 6. Plus it's also good if everyone starts over again anyway. It would kind of suck to get the game and then find that there's fewer people playing in whatever class you're in.

I doubt it, bro. Seth Killian was talking about how the whole back end online infrastructure is being redone for SSF4, which is why they couldn't just patch SF4.

This video shows all the new online stuff plus the bonus stages. Online looks to be beefed up, but I'm worried that the quality of matches may get worse in rooms with eight people. Keeping the faith though!

Why is everyone freaking out about that, anyway? Tons of Final Fight characters were in Guy's stages in Alpha 2 and Alpha 3.

Isn't Hugo basically ANDORE? The ANDORE character had multiple palette swaps in Final Fight, so I always thought the 3S incarnation was just a personalization of the character. He does have Poison as his companion.
