Game is so good! Playing as a Sorcerer on hard, so its nice and challenging. Got the "Epic Win" and "Epic Fail" cheevs out of the way already  :D Got up to the "Cat Man" boss. Hes pretty hardcore!

My favourite addition is the weapons and items you need the gauntlet points to use. Gives a whole extra layer of strategy, and theres various different ways to win. In the first game the skulls were the main damage dealers and win condition but theres just so much more going on in the battles now.

Im friggn hooked already! I know what Im playing all weekend, thats for sure  :(

Home and playing now. Is there anyway to zoom out this map? I mean it looks nicer zoomed in than the previous game but it also seems harder to do and find sidequests this way.

Man I suck with that sorcerer. I'm thinking about restarting with a different character class.

The Sorcerer gets real sweet once you hit level 12, I was having trouble on Hard until I unlocked the Finger of Death spell, now Im owning. Make sure you equip a sweet spell staff too. Those things hit for like 16 damage and you can pump it with flameblade for a real king hit. I got lucky and scored a crit for 80 damage last night  :D It was awesome.

I'm near the end, my guy is like Level 40 or something.

I don't think this is as good as PQ1, but theres a lot of improvements and otherwise

+ Illegal Moves aren't used against you
+ Inclusion of hand-based weapons is good
+ Defense against attacks can save you from mega damage
+ Looting chests
+ Art is improved
+ Bigger playfields (sometimes)
+ No online achievements

- AI is dumb as shit - again (this is on Hard mode, btw)
- Every attack is always blocked. BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK, so you have to nickel and dime the enemies
- Way too many enemies littering the hallways
- No world map
- No allies to give bonuses in battle
- No mounts to give bonuses
- Spells are crappy, all the same effect aside from using a different color
- Weapons and Armor are crappy
- No challenge at all (Hard mode, btw) aside from the actually named "Challenge Fights"
- Completely missable achievement if you decide to lockpick or use an unlock spell on a door/chest instead of bashing it (have to bash everything in the game), requiring you to play the entire game over

PQ1 > PQ2 > Galactrix

They look fine. Just buy it and play it and get 200. The perfect type of game.

Told you the achievements sucked

Disagree, the lack of online outweighs the possiblility of missing one - and it's not like they're hiding it from you it's right there on the list

Finished, 200

Last boss was cake compared to Bane. They definitely neutered it. Oh well, good enough...
