Not really, I have a PC and HDTV in my room, so I pretty much stay in there.  The living room sucks in comparison.

Before this, I live in a place and my roommate rocked (the other was a dick), and we all had fun and frolicked.  This isn't a bad situation, we're just not friends.  We get along, though.

What does rock is my apartment complex.  The nighbors hang out in the courtyard and drink and smoke and party together.  We've got tons of young, single women too.  We even threw a huge Halloween party in the courtyard.  I will miss my neighbors.

About 66,000 yen a month, not including utilities.  I live in a decent-sized (for Japan) 2LDK apartment (small kitchen, two rooms [one is tatami], toilet room, and bathroom).  I basically just live in the tatami room, mainly because that's where the aircon is, although I haven't been using it in the winter since it's too expensive...use a portable electric heater instead.  Everything is packed into that room: small bed, sofa, computer desk, tv, etc.  The other room is basically just used as a big closet right now.  Been thinking of changing it into a bedroom, but that's not something I'm going to do while it's fucking cold.

Do you guys have to pay for parking spaces in the U.S.?   Part of my rent is for that. 

Also tatami sucks balls.  Western-style is so much better.

Yeah, we got really lucky with our place. The other groups looking to rent it were some college girls from Seattle Pacific University, and a couple with a criminal record.
