More amazing Cutscenes from Konami's hayday. The Jehuty/Anubis; Jehuty/Vic Viper were especially awesome. Too bad the dub is horrrrrrrrrible and ruins them in the US version

I can't find the badass one in Onimusha 3 when Jean Reno jumps over a car on a motorcycle, then starts mowing down enemies with a P90.

If I had to pick a single set of cutscenes I think MGS3 is probably the best directed movie (plus the gameplay is A+++) in games. It's Kojima at his prime. Lots of really great cinematography overflowing with style and throwbacks to the 60s. It's impossible to choose a favorite scene though. The bridge scene w/nuke, the OP plane drop, the ending at the grave, the boss in the rain on the horse, etc... MGS3 = best game evah

For western stuff, I have to say I was really impressed with ODST's cutscenes. The motion capture was fantastic and between that and the writing the characters came off as really human. With nice direction (especially all the parts where rookie finds lost items) it all came together as a very well done piece of cinema.

The intro for Contra: Shattered Soldier on the PS2. Just for the music, tho- it makes me want to break shit.

Yeah the dub sucks (tidus sounds lol

) especially when the JPN track is probably the best any jrpg has ever had (launched many careers), but the cutscene direction is stellar. Kitase is a good cutscene director.

Makes me want to replay FFX one of these days.

I hope FF13 is good in 2 weeks, but there is a track record lately of all the directors from last gen sucking and losing all their talent when they make games this gen $:-\$
Although I dunno if the cutscenes will have the same impact without Uematsu classic tunes
