You get on, stare at the camera window, and either disconnect or are dropped instantaneously. There's no chat to be had.

Most dudes don't want to talk to other dudes.  It's like 95% of the people on there want to talk to a chick, see titties, or are from some message board dressed like ninjas or wearing V for vendetta masks.  It's boring.
