Holy crap, I was so close! :lol

As an aviator, he wasn't much in 1947.  The guy had a movie about planes and a tardy WW2 prototype that did one flight.  Regardless, any biopic about him can't have such a narrow focus that it cuts out the second half of his life.

i don't get it i thought he was some kind of aviator but he doesnt fly much ???

:rofl

:lol

That trailer's kind of messed up since it's about a minute longer than it should be and the sound cuts out way too early.

Here's a link to download the non-messed up version:

Yeah, Juice is right - they're both pretty overrated by their respective fans.

I don't like how it starts with the characters already being adults. Why doesn't it show them being born and going to school and getting picked on by bullies? How am I supposed to relate to them without their entire life story being spelled out on screen?

I've liked most of Nolan's work so far, with Memento being his standout.  Not really excited about this one.  I'll rent this.

It's weird.  Nolan seems pretty anal as a director, and then you see a mannequin growling at Maggie Gyllenhaal.  Really offputting to be honest.
There was enough of Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins that the quarry-full-of-gravel voice didn't get me, but the sequel had so much Batman voice that it was really, really apparent how over the top he'd gone. Give me that guy from Batman: The Animated Series.
