Talk about your epic badass movie. Do they even make movies like that anymore? God damn, i am thoroughly impressed. Have movies taken too much time with the glitz that they miss the point these days?

The first is the best in the series. I'd still check out 2 and 3. The fourth movie is nowhere near as good as the other three.

yeah, each sequel got a little worse than the one before but the first three were still the bomb. I think I'll do a marathon of all four of them soon now since it's that time of year.

uh, Die Hard 3 is the second best and it's not debatable. Die Hard 2 is watchable but pretty lame because it mostly just tries to recreate Die Hard 1.

Yeah, am nintenho is dumb. Die Hard with a Vengeance is fucking awesome, Die Hard 2 is just okay. It's as good as say, Under Siege.

I really didn't like any of the side-kicks in this series though. The third one was mostly just willis and jackson driving and running around chasing gold and terrorists, very little face-to-face action. It's still fun but not as much as the first and second ones where John was mostly doing his own thing, which was just all shooting and one-liners.

But Die Hard with a Vengeance is infinitely more quotable than Die Hard 2.

Well i didnt watch many movies when i was young, played nothing but videogames. By the time the first 3 were done i was still hooked on videogames. I could have seen Diehard with a Vengence but i didnt want to because I didnt see the other 3. :/ The next two should be coming up soon on tv soon so i'll be watching them.

Cormacaroni, just be careful you don't eat "Apple 2, Apple Harder" - it's clear they wanted to get more of what made apple great into the fruit, but instead it just feels like artificial apple flavoring, and it's a bit mushier than the first apple.

On the other hand, while I enjoy watching the first Die Hard repeatedly, I can't stretch your analogy far enough to recommend trying to eat that same first apple again. Its time, as well as its efforts in your digestive tract, have passed.
