afaik, it was disabled for everyone. Everyone should install the GAF (google) custom search userscript for the time being; very helpful and time saving.

I believe that's the rationale behind it too. I mean, they keep letting in new users who are going to want to be using some of the board functions (as minimally functional as GAF is). Server side upgrades are obviously going to be needed unless this is a permanent band aid.

Either way it does stink since I like running searches for music I recently found Online on GAF. There's usually a relevant thread for everything.
