Not that I was looking forward to MGS4 in the first place but that's such a colossal piece of shit in every sense of the word that it couldn't be anything else but a disappointment. MGS4 makes Lair seem good.

Can't be bothered to dig through the Academy Awards thread to look for it.

I was perma-banned for wondering out loud why the Wii was still selling so well in December 2008. Problem was that I wondered this out loud one day after serving a six-month ban for calling someone a stupid idiot after the Lakers lost in the NBA Finals. Before that, I was banned for a month for "trolling" Sony by saying that the graphics in PGR4 were on par with the graphics in the GT Prologue demo.

Pretty stupid bans, IMO.

Honestly, I think I pissed the mods off when I tried to create the Official Metal Gear Solid 4 thread a few hours before BruceLeeRoy was set to unveil his.

That's cause Americans got married abnormally early during that period, and by treating it as a benchmark you can show how everyone is waiting too long to pump out babies. It's the "no warming since 1998" of social statistics.
