I was really in love with the show the first two seasons but then I grew bored of it and wasn't really enjoying it as much as I used to. But I stuck it out because I already invested too much into it. I couldn't get into Caprica at all though.

This has been debated to death, but there's a difference between a show that included religious elements (and whose show-runner - from day one - was best known for introducing religious elements to another science-fiction series), and forcing ridiculously stupid religious elements into a show that was grounded in pseudo-science in the middle of its run. Leading to an epic finale of stupid that manages to pretty much negate most of the plot lines we had been following for years. The worst you can say about Battlestar Galactica is that you didn't necessarily like its resolution; it didn't try to invalidate years of storylines.

I don't expect you to get this, though.

At not point in time did I say they were equally bad or equally great, just equally overhyped. Everything I said has been completely consistent!

My main original gripe here was with constanza's relatively short sighted take on "british humour" ala Fawlty towers and monty python. And his over hyperbole on the subject. And his very narrow take on what constitutes good.
