Threads like this were most of the reason why the Tokyopia boards ceased to exist. Everyone just wanted to know how they could get a job as a game dev in Japan, while all the actual game dev people were telling them no, you can't do it and even if you did, it sucks.

I was wondering what happened there. The whole last year, it went from moderate-to-slow activity to no activity, to every new post either being a viagra spam or some shithead who is too lazy to use the search function but wants to move to Japan to work in game dev.

I must admit that I do miss the weekly get-togethers though. Not missing the KIX/Haneda commute every week though.

The funniest part was all their fair-weathered fans all pissed off. I have a few FB friends I'm not really friends with but can't delete without pissing off/causing a shitstorm for real friends.

Leaving the concert: "I fucking hate themmmmmm!!!! Sooo mad rite now!!!!" and that was before the band said anything publicly about the birds, just that there was a health concern for the band.

I can think of a million reasons to hate Kings of Leon, but I thought that was a funny time to realize they suck.

I hate their fans worse than the band tbh. That solidified in the drive thru at BK once. Got stuck behind a soccer mom van full of frat boys singing along at the tops of their lungs while still magically sucking each other off, and they ordered some ridiculous number of double cheeseburgers when they were still $1, like 20 of them.
