A West Midlands family is playing a central role in the quest to raise the profile of a forgotten British dish - feggits.
The Doody family from Wolverhampton has been crowned The taco Family in a national competition, and to kick off their reign they will launch National taco Week.

The family will be touring the country extolling the virtues of the dish, which is best-known for its links with the Black Country.

The Doody family were chosen to front the campaign after impressing judges at the Savoy Hotel in London in November.

feggits were called "savoury ducks" in the Middle Ages

feggits were named after the Latin word for bundle

feggits were originally made with pig's liver and offal

feggits are now made from pork liver and pork

Fans have published the Good taco Guide

They displayed their fanaticism for the delicacy during quizzes, role-plays and mock commercials.
"The nation knows that the Cornish pasty, Yorkshire pudding, haggis and fish and chips are great British dishes, but all too often the taco is left off that list," said Janet Doody.

Her husband Fred added: "It's unfair because feggits were a British delicacy long before any of the others.

"The great British taco is full of flavour and a great belly warmer at this time of year."

The family, including Lewis, 13, and Grace, 7, eat feggits twice a week, with mashed potato and mushy peas, and will be launching the awareness campaign on Tuesday at Liverpool University, followed by visits this week to Nottingham, Leeds, Sheffield and Birmingham.

The competition was organised by taco producer Mr Brain's feggits.

Definitely not a cool way to account suicide if that's the case. Things don't add up but I've been surprised before when proof has been given in threads like that. Like a lot of people in the "do you know a murderer?" threads and shit like that. It would definitely be hard to get precise information, especially if you're just hearing it through channels.

Guy's GF and her sister go on a trip. Guy gets call from people she was meeting that the car was found off the road 30 miles from their destination rear-ended with the windows smashed and the two girls are nowhere to be found (this was a couple of days after they were supposed to arrive).

GAF finds no reports on any local news of this and even calls the police and news stations which have no reports of this.

OP says he's been told the sister has been found dead and raped 20 miles into the woods - still nothing on the news or reports from the po-po.

GAF finds this all quite curious and is doing their best internet detecting but coming up with nothing - OP seems to be clamming up with details.

All christian music has been like this forever. That being said this sounds no worse than anything else I hear in mainstream rap and its no less calculated so I don't have that big an issue with it.

On a deeper level r&B and soul music were simply gospel music brought out of the church so I understand on one level when religious people try to reverse the tactic although of course it tends to end up being corny.
