Just bought it. Me and my brother tried it out, but the battery pack on one of the controllers won't stay in. Gonna play again later. :D

Gonna be hard to resist grabbing this when I get home. 

Does the character select screen still have that weird pausing when someone picks a character or have they fixed that?  I played this over at a friend's house a few months ago and we kept having to restart matches because the pausing was causing the both of us to select the wrong characters. :-\
