My wife got me a bottle of whiskey for Christmas. WHiskey is unreasonably expensive in Korea. I am a little drunk.

on my 2nd Anchor Steam, got some Ginga Kogen for later. And a bottle of Wartalia wine (danae aglianico). Never heard of it before but my wineseller had it on sale and their sale stuff is usually good.

Beer selection sucks in Omaha. We went to a bar the other night and I asked what they had on tap... the waitress looked dumbfounded by my question.

I'm drinking some Boulevard IPA (and New Belgian Abbey Ale), it's the only non-megabrewery beer I could find.

Yeah, yeah, I know. But this is the first year we've even had beer at the Patel household, and if you had to spend the holidays with my evil grandmother, you wouldn't be picky, either!

I was rewatching Arrested Development and kind of shocked how much my grandmother acts like Lucille, and I'm so used to it by now it took me a while to remember that's not normal or healthy.

Yeah, I stopped after a single glass of wine as well. Didn't feel like waking up with a hangover for my first day of winter break. That part of the plan was successful, but instead I had a nightmare about AT&T.
