Did he have to go through any additional security in Amsterdam? I would have assumed that all passengers on all in-bound flights with any connection to the turrist foreignlands would be subject to a ridiculous amount of security.

He never left the transit area so they didn't check him.

Now that is a bit troubling. In my experience, airport security in Europe has been tightened to almost US standards, but I doubt that's true for, say, Yemen.

I flew home today, and security wasn't any tighter going through Omaha or Minneapolis/St. Paul. Maybe it's different on international flights.

If I can't use my PSP, DS, or iPod on the flight back home from Japan, it's going to be unbearable.

Seriously, let's blow up some super malls!

Yea, what's to stop them from walking into a mall or school and blowing it up? I was at a basketball game at my school last week, the security was a joke. Doesn't seem hard to create a bomb and walk into a public place.

Terrorists are dumb though. Like the Cajole look-alike who was buying tons of beauty supplies with bomb making chemicals in them; perfect way to make yourself visible. Why not buy the products slowly, or better yet have each terrorist dude buy 1 bottle. After a month or so you'd have enough

I'd think actually that a $5 bill would work fine since middle-eastern airports aren't too worried about terrorists.  When I arrived at Tehran airport, I didn't go through a single pat-down or even metal detector.  There was more security when you went to visit shrines becauese of Sunni-Shia violence.

That's nice, but we were talking about Nigeria here.

On an aside, they've had uniformed Mounties standing around for extra security at the Toronto airport for the past two days.

Wasting police officers for airport security patdowns, smh.  :-\

From what I've heard, they're not letting people use anything during the last hour of international flights.

I thought they had already eased that restriction in favor of tighter screening....oh well, looks like air travel is going to suck for a long while.  :-\

As it was written in the Al-Tirmidhi: "The smallest reward for the people of Heaven is an abode where there are eighty thousand servants and seventy two wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls...A houri is a most beautiful young woman with a transparent body. The marrow of her bones is visible like the interior lines of pearls and rubies.  Her eyes are as wide as the sun and from her lips drop the word 'Uguu~' like rain in a storm..."

how is a young Muslim weeaboo to resist?

“When I first came here, I thought I was the only lonely soul,” Farouk1986 wrote on Jan. 29, 2005.

“But after, I realized that almost every good Muslim gets lonely at some point,” he continues. “This I believe is because really there are many Muslims but most are just Muslims by name who do not practice the deen earnestly, leaving the few good Muslims alone. So it’s a test we have to strive and go through for the sake of Allah.”

I just checked out the TSA's website, all that stuff about only one carry-on and the whole "you can't do anything the last hour of the flight" shenanigans are gone.

Jinfash's parents are going to be soooooo dissapointed.

I assume they're already disappointed after he botched things up on Christmas. It's every muslim parent's dream to outlive their child, and Jin had to disappoint.  :'(
