Final Fantasy XIII, a. because everyone says it's god awful (I'm only about 6 hours in or something, can't call it yet) and b. because I'm going to reaboo-up and buy it when it comes out in English. Could've bought cooler shit with that ¥8000. :\

i like borderlands okay, but i haven't been compelled to finish it - that's not really a regret, though

recent regret - madworld, even though it was cheap

it gets really old and repetitive after about an hour, all style and no substance

Most of my XBLA purchases barring Trials HD.  They aren't bad games, but I just don't play them.

Let's see:

Aion - Don't know what I was thinking, I don't even like MMOs.
Brutal Legends - I didn't want to see Tim Shafer make a bad game.
Gyromancer - This game looked fun, wasn't.
Left 4 Dead 2 - I still haven't even played it, I kinda got burned out on the first game.
Raven Squad - Worst game ever.
Saints Row 2 PC - The PC version is unplayable.
Section 8 - Couldn't really get into it.

Oh yeah. Saint's Row 2. I played through the abysmal starting section, tried to drive a car and turned it off. Holy shit is it awful.

I wish I hadn't purchased Modern Warfare 2. I don't really care that the singleplayer is shitty, its the multiplayer that gets me. Its worse in almost every way compared to the original (especially lag). I should have just stuck with Bad Company until the sequel hits in March :(

I haven't really touched Demon's Souls since I bought it but I've had a lot of other shit going on so I'm thinking that I'll eventually get back to it one of these days.  If not, throw it in the regret pile with Brutal Legend.
