A Boy and His Blob (Wii)

Having beaten NSMBWii and Silent Hill Shattered Memories, I felt compelled to expand on my next-gen experience and snatched a copy of ABaHB for 20 bucks. I'm not a big fan of third-party efforts on the Wii or any other Nintendo system, really, but their latest efforts on the market-leading console have been somewhat promising, so I took the chance with this game.

I haven't gotten far into it, but I already know that I will keep playing until the very end. It seems very charming and smooth, and had it not been for NSMBWii, I think I could have put this game up there as the best retail platformer for the system for 2009.

Has anyone else played it?

Well, granted, there is a lot of hand-holding in the game, but I think it serves to accentuate its charm more than hinder it. I'll need to play more of it to provide a more accurate review, but so far it's been pretty good.
