You just broke my heart.  :'(

And unfortuneatly, most of the ... erm... "core" new ip has materialised on the ds from internal Nintendo.

What are they? Really, I'm curious.

Card Hero ds, dont remember the japanese name
Fossil Fighters
Band Brothers
Jet Impulse
Soma Bringer

I hesitate for some other stuff because its mostly third party collaborations that were published by Nintendo

and Tingle games.

i would like to recant my wii hate: house of the dead overkill is fucking AWESOME

For someone as tech-head as you, I'm surprised you can overlook the chuggy framerate and constant jittering pauses as the game loads assets off the disc.  Good fun otherwise, but I'd recommend you don't buy any weapons except for the smg or the first shotgun.  The automatic weapons make the game far too easy.

yeah, I went through Overkill only using handguns.  Shotguns and other weapons destroy your accuracy rating anyway.  That frame rate hiccup thing is the only thing that really bothered me about the gameplay.  I wasn't a fan of the try hard grindhouse style cutscenes, but you can mostly ignore those, and other people seemed to like them; I'm just not a fan of the intentionally overdone to be grindhouse style.

Dude, the auto shotgun is the only gun you need.  I'd say its good for almost 100 percent accuracy. But the game is virtualy no challenge at that point.

Fzero went the way of 1080 snowboarding, waverace, and starfox.  Not enough sales to justify development.

I wish they would get around to making a 2d pokemon rpg for wii. The wiimote can hold save data so you could bring over your pokemons to someone elses place and do trades and shit.

I never played F-Zero GX for more than an houre because it was too hard.

I loved the GameCube, though. My second favorite platform last gen. Xflop was the worst.

Sure it is, same thing with warioware.  And if we want to include the gba and cube, we can add warioware, drill dozer, and Rhythm Tengoku!

Do you have to import or are there plenty of stores stocking on Euro games? Stores around here usually stock on both versions equally.

The US release is definitely happening though, but any more than a 2 month delay would be unacceptable imo.

I've only seen some mom and pop shops carry japanese imports.  Otherwise, ya, internet.

edit:  And NoA has been notorious the past few years of not releasing finished translations because they don't think the game will sell.  Did picross ds do well?  Someone hail Segata.

For what it was, it sold well.  Over 110k.  Under 130k.

Fossil Fighters and Starfy sold in the same ballpark, so chances are pretty good I say!

I know, but part of the reason I think NoA is localising obscuri like Glory of Heracles is because they might think 110k-200k is profitable for their ds line.  Keep in mind I don't know what I am talking about
