Eh, I don't like to make finding music into work.  If I hear a song I like somewhere I look up the band and sample some of their other stuff and will buy their album.  I'm pretty open to most/any genres, so I usually have no problem asking coworkers asking what they listen to and following up on that.  I hope you're not just doing this so you can be a part of music discussions.

Who said it was work?  Pandora, Last.fm and ilk make finding new *good* music as easy as can possibly be.  It almost feels like cheating.
