Anyone here like racing games and have a PS3?

Got a free copy of Motorstorm 2 to give away.  Will give it to anyone here who would actually play it because it's a pretty cool game.  Great visuals, really cool tracks with all kinds of secret paths, intense races.  But the AI is bullshit after a few ranks in so expect frustration or play online after you get a good way in.

If I wanted to be   

I'd make you guys jump through hoops and do some contest or something, but instead I'll just arbitrarily pick someone who seems like they would actually play the game and enjoy it.  I'm willing to ship outside the US but in that case whoever gets it pays shipping.  If it's within the US I'll pay a few bucks.  Don't mind really.

I owned it for a short time, but my launch PS3 was in the fritz which made racing damned near impossible. There were stretched vertices or whatever the hell they are called (common GPU failure symptom) all over the place, which I would mistake for actual course obstacles.

The game is really good. But just like its predecessor gets too hard during the middle/later levels.

I saw one sell for $20 on Ebay the other night. That may or may not have been with shipping included.

But on that note, Sony really needs to revise the pricing of their games more often.

I went looking for it the other week when it was $20 at Best Buy, but it was sold out everywhere.

 

Yeah I'd been waiting for it to drop forever after renting it and enjoying it.  So when it was on-sale at best buy I just ordered it from the online store (was sold out at the local BBs) with some reward certificates for $13ish total.

This game is so awesome like OMG. I think this sold like ass, though, so I guess we're stuck with god damned Crap Crapismo.

I was actually one of the few that liked Motorstorm at launch.

I liked it well enough, until I got to the mandatory night races. At that point, the combination of cheap A.I. and lack of headlights made me really resent the game. Still, those moments when you're racing through a muddy trench and squeezing between two big rigs, while the fiery wreckage of some poor sod goes tumbling above you, that's just arcade racing magic.

The decision to include free play in the sequel was real wise.
