I think it was rude of him to post the PMs, especially since I was trying to talk to the "real" Himu as opposed to his troll persona, but then he started trolling me in his replies (). I would try to explain to him why buying, say, Bayonetta or Sakura Wars on release would be better than buying Final Fantasy XIII or Mass Effect 2 since those are going to sell millions of copies anyway, and he just replied with shit like "Why should I care?" "Sakura Wars should have come out 10 years ago. Whoop. Too late."
This is where it starting to freak me out. I don't see why I should buy a game just because it'll give one sales boost when my interest in playing it is extremely low. I'm not some guy who's loaded with excess cash like Drinky or Maf. I buy what interests me on a limited budget, and it's always been like this: I buy what I want at full price and everything else used or at budget price. I'm not buying some 5 hour game for 60 bucks. Fuck
that. Unless that game is fun as living fuck like Dead Rising, I'm not going to do it.
And I wasn't even trolling. I'm being genuinely honest. You can complain about lack of sales of SW5 in the west, but the truth is: that ship has sailed. They had their opportunity to get English fans YEARS ago and missed it. Yes I've played ST1-3, and they were pretty alright games, but I don't like them enough to rush out and buy SW5 like it's one of my favorite series ever, because it's
not. Sorry, I think I'll stick with FF and SMT. It should be pretty easy to understand why I'd do this, but instead you go on a tirade on SUPPORTING THE UNDERDOG and all this shit that I believed - once - yeah, when I was a
teenager.
I miss chatting with Himu and geeking out over games like Persona 3 and stuff. It seems nowadays he's so jaded and uninterested in pretty much almost everything we used to like to talk about.

I agree, which is why I'm not a gaming quitter. Quiting games is stupid. It's like "quitting" movies. Even the most casual person plays shit like solitaire. I never said I'd quit games either, but what exactly is wrong with making it a less important part of your life? Is it gaming nerd or not a gamer at all? Do I really have to be a gaming nerd to enjoy games?
