You should try out Sonic Unleashed (360 version). It gets a bad rap because of the Werehog but it's a pretty good game.

Last time I saw the ending of Sonic Adventure was when I finished it in 1999, two days before I sold it. I have no idea what you're talking about.

And Live and Learn was the pinnacle of cheesy music from Sonic Adventure 2. You stand the game with Escape from the City thinking it couldn't get worse and the game manages to top itself at the end. It's better in the context of the game where you have radical furry drama with Amy, Sonic and Shadow.

IF they must do this, it better be an actual update rather than a simple port. The original game is a buggy mess that hasn't aged well at all. Releasing it as it was in 1999 would not be a good idea at all.

Given how Sega slaughtered their own franchise potential with Crazy Taxi, that idea makes too much sense. They probably would rather port it to the DS than XBLA or PSN.

For 800 pts, I'd buy Sonic Adventure on the first day. I might even for 1200. Good memories of 9/9/99 picking up and playing Sonic Adventure. Was it a flawed game? Yes but in a lot of ways, it is the best 3D Sonic title out there, doing things that the second didn't do right (by making the Knuckles portions way too long; the first one had much shorter side levels) and I never once fell through the floor in the original.

I got it. It was okay, but the adventure mode from the DC version was removed, probably because keeping it would have been detrimental to SCIV sales.

It's a lazy port but I've been really nostalgic for the Dreamcast lately. If Sega was smart (they aren't), they should bring Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure 2 at least.

Worked fine for me and I was using CrossOver on OSX.

It may have worked fine, but I don't think your system magically added missing lighting and solved some of the issues. Seriously, if you compare it to the Dreamcast game or even the GC port, you immediately notice that it looks quite a bit worse. That's just how it is.

It's like that RE4 PC port...without the mods.
