Okay, dudes. I am off to Thailand and Cambodia for two weeks. We picked some remote-ish spots, so I think I'm going to be webless. Which is a good thing. Pictures when I return. Anything I should see? Kosma, you;ve been to Thailand? Suggestions?

zomg going to Ankgor Wat. I've wanted to go there since I played Illusion of Gaia, lul.

I think this is the plan: We fly into Bangkok tommorrow. We hop a train to the Cambodian border and head to Siem Reap on Sunday morning. Angkor Wat for a day or two. The rest is up in the air. Thursday we head back into Thailand and head to Ko Chang. I hear it used to be really quiet, now it's being really agressively developed, so it could be the last chance to chill there before it's another resort. If it's already kind of tourist-y we may book it for another island or something. Anyway, we're just gonna chill on the beach, drink, scuba, sleep for a week. Then back to Bangkok for a Day and then back to chilly Seoul

So, Bangkok (1.5 days)->Siem Reap (Angkor, who knows what else)->Ko Chang (BEACH. SUN.)->Bangkok (1 day)->Seou;

No matter what you have heard about the availability of Thai Sticks, do not purchase weed in Thailand or Cambodia. They may have some of the best available, but there is a lot of bullshit around buying it in the cities I've been told.

As an aside, apparently you can buy a trash bag full of FUNK for fifty bucks in Jamaica without incident.

You should take the boat from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. It's worth seeing the capital city for one day at least. You can see where some of the worst atrocities in human history went down.

QUick recap:

Cambodia was pretty cool. Siem Reap is chill as fuck. I met the guitarist of one of my favorite bands and we hung out for a day. I lost my iPod in the back of a tuktuk and had to go to the police station at like 1 AM and wake up the police. Thailand is okay. It's like 70% frat party, 30% mos eisley cantina. Crazy scams everywhere. Little kids writing down my pin number and trying to pick my pocket. Ko Chang is more chill.

My wife got a parasite, then we got in a motorbike accident and almost died, scrapes and pulled muscles everywhere, then we got really drunk and I fuuuuuuuuuuuuucked up my foot on some coral drunk night swimming. Tommorrow is a boat trip and we feed some monkeys or something.

I need a vacation from my vacation.

Did you hit up Ta Promh and Bayon? Those were my favorite temples aside from the main one. Ta Promh is the one with the trees growing out of the ruins, and Bayon is the one with the massive faces carved into the pillars.
