My Apple Mighty Mouse (the second one I'm on, I might add-- the first died several months after purchase) is back to giving me shit again (the trackball is a piece of shit), so I went to the Apple Store today to check out the Magic Mouse once again. I've been wanting a wireless mouse anyway, and was about to purchase one, but then decided to do some further research. Seems like quite a few people like it, however there are issues with the promised long battery life being complete bullshit. So rather than be disappointed by another Apple mouse and not wanting any potential issues with Windows, I went with my father's -a noted Apple whore- recommendation and ordered a Kensington Ci75m mouse off Amazon for half the price of the Magic Mouse.

It's not Bluetooth, but makes up for it by offering wired capabilities too-- inside the mouse is a cable that can be used with the USB dongle if the batteries run out or you just need to be using a wired connection.
This was entirely coincidental, but while at the Apple store, I got on the phone with my father and was talking to him about this stuff, saying "Yeah, I just read all these complaints about the Magic Mouse's battery life and ergonomics. People on Mac Rumors are saying it's got issues and dies out too quickly." This was right across from an employee who was trying to sell a couple on a Mac -talking about that mouse in particular-. The guy froze mid-sentence when I said that and the couple just kinda laughed.
