I've recently started enjoying her work, mainly from the look of the videos, but I'm feeling pretty confident she's not got the staying power of Madonna. I hope I'm wrong though, because the lifestyle image she's projecting and the visuals she's using are just outright nutshit crazy, and that's inspiring in and of itself.

part of it is due to men wanting to bang Madonna for years.  I've yet to hear one person that thinks Gaga is attractive.

Should I keep it?  $75 seems a bit much considering how quickly prices of Blu-rays drop these days.  Like I said, I just picked it up because it was the only one left with that letter opener.

Regardless of how much longer I get to enjoy Lady GaGa, her first two albums have made quite an impression on me already, and I'd never feel inclined to hide it away or even THINK of selling it. On top of that, I love collector's editions and display them prominently no matter what.

The only other album I've bought a collector's edition of was Born To Run.

Madonna is really good at keeping up with EDM trends and teaming up with good producers (Shep Pettibone, William Orbit, Mirwais, Stuart Price). That's allowed her to stay relevant after all these years. Hell I was dropping an Axwell mix of "Jump" in my sets a lot back in '07.

I'm having a tough time deciding what I want to buy right now. Super SF4 TE stick, or preorder the CE of Starcraft 2. Both have similar risks. I'm not sure if I'll enjoy SC2 (but if I happen to, the CE is the edition I want), and I'm not sure if moving to an arcade stick is going to help me enjoy SF4 anymore (although it will certainly help me enjoy Marvel much more).

One is $100, the other $150. What to do.

LOTR Blu-Ray sales are tanking hard. It was the #1 selling title last week when it first came out, this week it's down to #5 and Sherlock Holmes is #1 again. And I'm glad, WB deserves to get burned for pulling this crap.

Thanks, I hope so. I still want the SC2 CE since I love Blizzard's CEs, but the reason I was on the fence about it is that I'm not sure I'll even like Starcraft. I never played the original and I've only seen my friend play the beta.

I couldn't play Starcraft for the longest time because it isn't compatible with Win7 but I looked around the interbutt and found a fix, so now I should get a good intro to the series before I splurge 100 bucks on one game.

I got pissed off at wishing I had a working iPod Touch, so instead of trying to figure out how to immediately use my 32GB with broken headphone jack, I just bought a new 64GB Touch. With AppleCare this time, so I'm safe on repairs for the next 24 months.

Also picked up the wireless Magic Mouse with the full tactile surface. So far it /almost/ makes up for how crappy Mighty Mouse is.

Found a copy of GTA Trilogy (III, Vice City, San Andreas) for original Xbox for 39USD. Last month I could only find it for 80 bucks, so that's en route, along with the 5-disc Blade Runner set on Blu-Ray.

I'm getting the beginnings of an RSI from too much time on tiny keyboards at work, so I bought a Microsoft Ergonomic Natural Keyboard. So far it is helping.

lol I have the PS2 version of that.  It was a smash bros game where konami characters fought against a toy company.  I remember it having someone from Bloody Roar.  If you don't remember bloody roar, it was that super shallow fighting game where you could transform into animals.  Bloody Roar 2 was awesome.

and yeah, the gamecube freeloader is good.  no modding required.

I saw a used copy of that game at a little game shop near my hotel. They wanted 3,200 yen for it, which is pretty standard based on what I saw it going for other places. If it was dirt cheap, I would've picked it up.

All 3 would be significantly faster than your current setup.  You can keep the 9800 GT for PhysX.  I've got one just for that purpose.  In physX games, you can easily see a boost of 50% with a dedicated physX card.

You should be fine with the 280 or 295.  They're only about 1.5 inches longer.  The 5870 is a bit longer though.  

My recommendation is the 295 if it's within your budget.  Outside of maybe 5 games, it'll deliver 60fps with max settings at 1080P, 4XAA.

How about the 280 GTX?  It's still more than twice as fast as a 9800GT and much cheaper than the 295.  I'll give you an extra discount on it.  $180, shipping included.
