I remember playing a demo for it or the 360 one some years back. I liked it. Got it for $10 brand new.
The sequel, Rumble Roses XX, is on 360. You bought the original, which is a better game than the sequel IMO. I think Pride FC's Lenne Hardt does the ring announcer voice in one or the other.
That announcer is in both versions.
RRXX has better game play than the original, plus the tag team stuff, but I also have a preference for the PS2 game as well. The kooky story mode was fun to play. Removing it from RRXX was a bad move. The street fight mode also sucked.
Also Junpei, one of the "flaws" of the PS2 game is that you can only play as a heel or face version of the character, but hacked saves (and later an official "hacked" save, IIRC) are out there that will let you be able to choose all of them. They fixed this in the Japanese and Euro releases that came later. Those also had more animation and possibly some extra moves, IIRC. I forget.
Rumble Roses/XX, Def Jam (the original), and Ultimate Muscle are my favorite wrestling games of the last decade, easily. I have never been able to get into the various professional wrestling-based titles and for whatever reason, couldn't get into Firepro either.
