paid 620 even including tax, i think the pricetag was around 590, it really isn't about that though, i guess i learned not to get hyped up about a gun then go out and buy it within the same day. I woke up thinking "shit i just spent 1200 dollars on handguns within two months" which is money that would have much better gone towards a rifle or a shotgun, or gear or bullets or ANYTHING else for that matter.

anyways i called the shop i bought it from and they told me they would have to buy it as a used gun and i would take a 100 dollar hit, i guess that's better than a 600 dollar hit but still

That goes for almost any big purchase. Let it sink in past the initial excitement. You should at least keep it for a while, shoot it a bit and see if it grows. Buyers remorse is pretty common on big ticket items but you'll know in a few days if it was truly worth it.

So I accidently got signed into msn when I went to hotmail. Turns out a girl I have liked for a very long time was on. I haven't talked to her in a year, and haven't because my feels generally fuck things up between us. So I didn't talk to her even though she was so close.

I think so, yeah. The only Bioware games I have played are KOTOR1, a bit of Jade Empire, and both Mass Effects, and this game reminds me of medieval Mass Effect with a different combat system. It's kinda like FFXII's, I guess.

I also just ordered a new PC today, which will likely run the PC version adequately enough (on low settings, which is fine), so I may be selling the 360 version right back to the store.

I really like my pair as well. I may buy an all-black pair like that next time I'm able to try them on in a store. It took me three pairs to find the right fit.

You need to walk in Vibrams before you go jogging, man. You are asking for injuries if you do. I'd recommend at least a month of wearing around the house and casual walking outside before you go running for any kind of distance. (unless you spend a huge proportion of your time barefoot already, perhaps)

No, he hasn't noticed the numerals are slightly different colored. I doubt he would since he's only looked at them a few times.

Did my friend pack it good? Have fun messing around with the different tips to get the sound you like best. For the Shure olives that I packed in, try putting them on in reverse but don't push too deep. They're kinda hard to get off if you push all the way. Sorry there was only one pair. It happened to be my last.

I just bought some Monster Supertips tonight. They seem to work pretty well and might be worth a try if you can't get a good fit with any of the current tips. I seem to get more bass with the Monster Gel tips than anything else. However, they do have a tendency to slip off since they don't fit perfectly on Westones, even with the included adapters.

Yeah, the W3 is incredibly efficient, definitely more so than the W4. I have to bump the volume by 20% to get the same loudness with the W4. Also, the W3 has more bass, which is great if you listen to a lot of hip-hop.

The longer I listen, the more they disappear.

The isolation is fantastic too, which is handy 'cause i'm at home and have rug-rats around. They kick the ass of the Ety ER-4 and ER-4P (which shouldn't surprise me 'cause that's a 10-plus yr old design by now).

Are you impressed by the soundstage? I was really surprised by how wide it was when I first tried the W3. It's hard to believe that those tiny earphones can produce such a big sound.

It's about what I expected from the Etys. Of course they are a lot louder than the Etys, and it gets hard to separate volume from soundstage at some point. Got some Miles and Trane on now, still rockin'

The amazing thing is that the seal doesn't feel particularly tight, but the isolation and volume is fantastic. With my old ones, I'd have had to feel like it was inserted directly into my brain to get this sound.

Not entirely sure if your comment is about auditory health or audio quality but I do believe that speakers are still the best way to experience music. The only problem is that a good stereo setup costs much more. You'd have to spend at least $5000 on speakers + electronics to get the same level of fidelity as $400 earphones.

Yeah, there is no substitute for actually moving air. You will never feel music through earphones or even headphones the way you do with live music or speakers. But I can't crank up speakers up enough to make it worthwhile, and they cost so much more. High-end earphones are the best bang-for-buck by far. Even a crappy little ipod nano playing good quality mp3s can sound godly.

Yeah, the other problem of high end stereos is that really good sources are needed. You can pretty much forget about using MP3s on them. On my Uncle's $50,000 stereo, many mainstream pop recordings sound like garbage because they weren't produced for audiophiles. I brought over a friend to check out that system and he was shocked at how many artifacts were in his favorite U2 CDs.

Right. I always find it funny how audiophiles end up gravitating towards jazz and classical, with a focus on who engineered the recording rather than the actual artist. If you listen to anything else, it drives you crazy so your taste in music ends up changing.

I'm only recently able to discern low quality MP3s when playing free crap on Grooveshark. My sennheisers do make everything else sound like crap, sure. And my Etymotic ER-6i sound really, really tinny anymore, but do a great job of making trains and planes disappear. Other than that, I'll probably never spend over 200 bucks on headphones of any kind.
