I was actually "mobile" for the whole time I've been here, but the rental Rav4 for a month cost over half what it took to buy/smog/regsiter this car, and insure it for 6 months.

Buying shoes online is so incredibly annoying. I need to replace my go-to black athleisure shoes because they're a good three years old now and embarrassingly fucked up, but I never see anything I like in stores and I think I'm too fickle for the ship/return process.

Anyway, I'm irritated so I'm going to ask for some thoughts. I like these, but they look identical to generic All Stars and CK makes some really shitty products —I doubt they would last a full year.

Tiesto you gonna do all the work yourself? If so I wish you luck on your "weekend project" that will end up taking a lot of time. Just a tip if you got one of those low flow toilets (which you most likely got due to most cities water restrictions) adjust the slack of the tank fill tube that's connected to the float ball. Then just add more water your new toilet will thank you and work more efficiently cause it'll have more water pressure to suck your crap away.

Good luck with the tile, easily the hardest thing to do right by any means especially if your redoing a shower. You mess up anything on the cement board and your fucked.

As for what I bought today, I bought a day of freedom from the misses for one day. It's costing me an arm and a leg, and possibly a deal with the devil to make it so. In the time she's gone I'm gonna clean house and god know's what else.

G: Nope, I have some family friends who are contractors who will be doing the project for me (not for free of course!)... redoing bathrooms, painting, adding hihats, new carpets, hardwood floors in my den. Basically everything but the kitchen (since that's the most expensive part of the house). I'm definitely gonna post some before-and-after pics...

Andy: Nope unfortunately! They had the Toto toilet which had a bidet (adjustable for men/women), heated seat and remote control, all for $5000! A bit out of my price range
