I have never understood the Pachinko-on-console genre, but I have an even more difficult time grokking westerners who import them. I've bought a mess of them for friends -- I think it's an ownership/completionist thing in their case.

Yeah Movement in still life is great, it was what got me into BT. I still remember going into a used cd shop in SLO picking it up and blind buying it. Was a great cd to listen to on the journey back home, I kept it on repeat the whole way home.

Bestbuy fucked up my Witcher 2 and cancelled my preorder at 5am today for instore pick up. So I had to go to the store at opening to get the game. Rolled in got it and the tshirt then tried to purchase it. The damn system at Bestbuy was fucked and wouldn't let me purchase it. So they took a regular edition and charged me for that. And to top it off they gave me $20 off anything I wanted in store. Since I was also in there for Mission Impossible I got that. They even wanted to give me a penny back since it was $19.99.

I later got a OG witcher 2 for PC at target for $19.99 which gets a free upgrade to the enhanced edition from GOG.com.

It's such a reliable little workhorse. I do wish I had gotten the previous years version with the straight serrations and metal trigger though. I know they say polymer triggers are reliable and such but I just hate having a plastic trigger. I'll go a smith soon and see how much for a proper trigger job. I'd like it to be a bit lighter anyways. I can apparently get it down to around 3 lbs which just springs but I'll see what my options are.

I can definitely see the want/need for the metal trigger. Of course, you could take some weight off by going down to the regular clip instead of the extended one.

It really is, but the problem is that it's only super comfortable when I have the extended mag in. It's too small for my hands otherwise.

But even with the 10 round mag the trigger pull seems a bit janky. I love the gun though so I'll find a nice balance somehow

I changed the spring and did a of DIY mod and the trigger pull was lightened quite a bit. Im guessing 3 or 3.5 lbs. Still not as smooth as a 1911 but it's much better now. Im gonna also pick up a s&w shield, Beretta nano or (preferably) a colt mustang if I can find it. Just something for ccw during summer months. I'll be getting a colt cco or defender for fall/winter later.

changing anything from factory on a ccw piece is I'll advised, if you ever did have to use it that can and will be used against you if you go to court. I'd recommend reading some Massad Ayoob.

anyways s&w's new shield is something I'm thinking about too. I hear it has a glock tier trigger. IMO the nano is overpriced. if you don't care about an external safety take a look at the keltec pf9, which can be had for under 300, also tale a look at rugers sr9c, which also has an awesome trigger, an external safety and hold 10 rounds flush and 17 extended which you said you like.

The Keltec just doesn't fit my hand well. It's not comfortable for me at all. The Nano is a bit overpriced. It's on the low side of my list. But I hear it's a pretty damn good shooter. I haven't run into one in the wild here though so I haven't gotten a chance to check it out myself.

I don't mind changing anything on my CCW. None of the mods I'm making make me uncomfortable to take out as my CCW. If I end up using it a lighter trigger pull isn't going to factor in. That seems like it'd be an issue with a AD or ND.
