They are super comfy. I recommend them highly, and they were cheap on Amazon -- 60 bucks or so, down from 90 something.

I almost got the blue/green ones, but they look like someone sneezed the laces onto them.

It's seriously about time I check this series out:

-I love the whole conspiracy theme, hearing that this game references the Bilderberg Institute (a thing my libertarian alex jones listening truther friend frequently namedrops) sounds awesome
-I love cyberpunk
-Director mentions Suikoden was a big influence on the first game
-Met the art director for the most recent game at a comic-con afterparty last year

God of War Saga, Ico & Shadow of the Colossus, Jak & Daxter Collection, Killzone Trilogy, and Ratchet & Clank Collection from Gamestop for only $45. I think I came out fairly well! I also bought Dark Souls on PC off of Amazon since it was only $19.90.

If you saw the pic i put of the swelling on my face i put on twitter...that's what i get. Itchiness and swelling. The thin membranes are affected first, as with most inflammations - eyes, mouth, ears etc...but I also got it in my feet so bad it was painful to walk at times.

It's fucking crazy considering I ate the stuff daily for most of 4 decades but there you go. It's just like booze - you build up a tolerance to the poison but stop taking it for long enough and your body responds to it badly again.

a quick tip - The Dark Knight Trilogy Blu-ray set is only $5 more than the regular Dark Knight Rises BR on amazon right now...I cancelled my preorder for the latter and got the set instead since my HD-DVD (lol) of Batman Begins is dead anyway. For $5 it's worth it just to have a couple of backups handy even if you already own the first two

Everything I've purchased since September...that's pretty much it for the holiday season, although I plan to import the second Fist Of The Northstar Koei PS3 game next month.

On the Vita, there's also Ragnarok Odyssey, Retro City Rampage, Jet Set Radio, and Playstation All-Stars.

The only Black Friday item is Persona 4 Arena, which I picked up to replace the Japanese copy that I can't play on the new super-slim PS3.

the online mode is amazingly bad. why in the flying fuck did they put that in there. Co-op stuff would be cool (if the game were good) and they should've worked on doing that with good netcode, unlike NGS2. That would actually play to the strengths of the genre while pushing it forward. I'd actually play online in a non-fighting game for once.

but no, they had to go and make it this whole suite of bullshit that didn't have a chance in hell of ever being popular.

Many months ago, I tried donating to my local library about 100 books of mine that were veritable classics (all non-fiction) and they turned it down. Turns out, most libraries exist these days to check out movies and have computers for homeless people and car dwellers (Billiechu) to look up porn on.

In this digital age, nobody wanted them. Once I got Kindle versions of the stuff I wanted, I tossed them in the dumpster.

sadly our library is the same way. they have lots of books but yeah it's mostly dvds and internet stations which don't take donations.
