Does it extract the oils completely from the coffee?

Even if it does, I'll probably still end up picking one up, but I love the oils on top when I make myself a french press.

IN OTHER NEWS, I went shopping for a bit yesterday, and avoided buying Naughty Bear Gold Edition and Rock of the Dead for ¥980 each. When I saw RotD features Felicia Day and NPH, as well as the music of Rob Zombie, I was really excited! And then I googled some gameplay footage which showed that it looked basically unplayable. The riffs are SO TINY ON THE SCREEN. Naughty Bear had a 50% metacritic, so F that.

I bought my first CDs in a year, a discount bin had Collide and some Bowie:

And also bagged the new Autechre albume and SKYFALL digitally. WOOT.

I needed a headset for PlanetSide 2 and the SteelSeries Siberia v2 have pretty good reputation. I'll give it a try tonight.

Yay! More free games from Green Man Gaming. I'm currently playing Ninja Blade and the other ones seem pretty interesting too.

Switched over to Straight Talk, and bought an iPhone. Originally, I was going to get another Android phone, but they only have one good phone that they sell for ST (Samsung Galaxy SII) and nobody ever has it in stock. At first, I ended up going with the 5, but a little bit of data connection and some buyer's remorse later, I took it back and downgraded to the 4. I'm completely okay with this!

Have to protect that glass back!

Bought it off Amazon two days ago. I can't wait for it to get here, but seeing as how they've (FedEx) already turned it over to USPS Smartpost, I might have to wait a bit...

I went a little crazy in the Rock Band Music Store today and spent like $30+ bucks on DLC. What the hell was I thinking? Now I've got pretty much every New Wave track, and some other '80s stuff, and I am now replete with Rob Zombie and White Zombie, except for War Zone, which is just not a good song.

It may even get me playing Rock Band Blitz again, which I apparently logged 84 hours in while pursuing game completion.

Also, on the recent XBLA sale, I got the Alan Wake American Nightmare, EA's Warp, and Hybrid. Prolly should start playing that before the post-sale boom dies off.

Also bitched to Apple that their Sherlock "boxed set" didn't have closed-captioning, and the standard version does, so they ended up refunding my money.

Went out this weekend to buy a new car for my wife 'cause her car was totaled when she got t-boned at an intersection from some lady that ran a red. I originally was set on getting a Mazda CX-5 and started negotiating with the dealer but I kinda fucked it up when I walked away from a price I would've accepted but I tried to go lower and went home. When I went back the next day the car I wanted was gone. Ugh.

So I started looking elsewhere and came across a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. I never, NEVER, thought I'd be interested in a Hyundai but I'll be damned if it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I was able to get a 3.7 AWD Santa Fe fully loaded with a rear entertainment system for a little over 30k. Hell, I almost want to get another one so I can drive it more. Cool car for the family.

No doubt the CX-5 was more fun and I felt like an ass when I wiffed but we really got a lot more for our buck with the Santa Fe like heated leather seats, touch screen audio/GPS, rearview camera, DVD player with 10" drop down monitor, bluetooth, etc.

Not missing the CX-5 at all anymore.

The funny thing is that it may even have an XMB-style interface like the PS3. I used one similar in the USA, which was really odd. It was so sluggish; there is no way it was the most efficient choice for the device.
