Also bought Just Cause 2 on the XBL Spring Sale, but it won't finish downloading. :'(

This probably isn't worth discussing as you've already ordered but the i5 3570K ($229) beats the FX 8350 pretty easily in gaming performance: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/697?vs=701. This might change if next gen PC games take advantage of more cores but for now Intel is easily the better performance choice.

The gaming performance is pretty negligible and I understand that it isn't the best. I don't have the budget for the best. This is the best value(imo) for the money I could sneak on the down low.

Civ 5 - It's like a whole new game.
Diablo 3 - I didn't notice that much difference
NFS: MW - Went from 10FPS to 60+
Skyrim - Went fro 20+FPS to 60+
CS: GO - Finally playable

It feels like a new console!

Going to hit up Steam now that I don't have to worry if my rig will play games or not.

Probably selling them though, nice but not that impressive

bought what is supposedly THE best penetrating oil in the world. need it ASAP because the muzzle brake is stuck on my AK and the detent pin is stuck in the rearmost position. had to order it online because it's impossible to find the stuff at any local shop anywhere, half the google results on this stuff comes back as people asking where to find it. I guess its suppossed to make WD40 and liquid wrench look like water in comparison.

Found all six seasons of Oz for $20 at a local video place going out of business. While there I overheard some folks talking about Apple TV v Roku; I'm kind of thinking about buying one, once I get a decent TV. Any of you guys use either of those? I don't have cable, not interested in getting it either, but I do have Netflix (and the occasional free Hulu trial).

I'm leaning towards Apple because I could transfer videos from my iPod to the television.

I love my AppleTV to death. You can plug in your Netflix membership and stream through that, as well as YouTube, Hulu, Vimeo, and the sports crap. Anything you've bought on iTunes is also stream-able, and you can use airplay to send stuff from any iOS device running 5 or higher, iirc.

You can also stream your iTunes content from any PC on your local network using Home Sharing. If you listen to music in it a lot, you can access your Apple photo stream, or any RSS feed as a screensaver.

I've not used a Roko.

Roku is nice. It's got Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, Crunchyroll, all that stuff, and you can stream anything from your PC with Plex.

Ah. Neither Crunchyroll nor Amazon Streaming on AppleTV.

In my case, they'd be blocked by IP address anyway. Amazon doesn't even let me stream tv shows I've purchased and previously seen. It's ridiculous.

nope. Its my first really. Growing up I rode an old Honda that my dad had. And I've rode my brothers Ninja and a few friend's Harleys.

Joy riding on someone else's bike is quite different than actually trying to commute on your own I've found. I'm in love.

haha everyone told me I would catch a bug and want something with more power. I think they're right. But I'm fine for now. Its fun as hell to cruise on and its easy to handle. I do wanna see how the softail Harleys ride now though.

Yeah the power is kinda on the weak side, but for a beginners bike it's great. I went from learning on a dyna-wide glyde to a 100th anniversary fatboy, wow what a difference in power. I've been looking to get my own one day, but I'll be getting a car I think before I get a motorcycle. Got my eyes on a Model X for 2015.

I've ridden the fatboys before but I've never cruised with one. I can see how the size and comfort would make for an incredible ride though. I need to get some new springs and maybe adjust the preload on my 883. The suspension is similiar to riding a brick being drug by a truck haha

Yeah it's rough. I haven't really taken a look at the adjustments yet, but I believe by default it comes on the setting for my weight range. Touring springs are 89 bucks and are soft as air. So I'll just pick those up I think.
