Well, I've tried to watch some of the classic anime. I've gone through Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Ninja Scroll, Fist of the North Star, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, and about half of the Studio Ghibli movies. They're quite good but most of the time I would rather watch a non-animated movie. I'm not into Pixar or DreamWorks movies either even though I loved the Disney classics growing up.

iPhone 5S 32GB, after dealing with a 16GB 4S for the last two years. Having 32GB is nice but I haven't even pushed new stuff onto it yet; so far, the biggest improvement is not worrying about my battery CONSTANTLY. Honestly, the 4S battery is the worst thing ever, worse than olive loaf, head cheese, or finding a hair in your soup.

Went to a little art show with the girlfriend (who was exhibiting) and found a booth selling cool creepy/industrial/apocalyptic style prints. Grabbed two and bought a hand bound book from the gf's booth.

The prints come from a guy on Flickr by the name of Floodspectre. He's got a bunch of cool stuff on his page. The booth itself where I bought them was from Puccoon Racoon Jewelry the exhibitor sells custom casting jewelry of which I bought a set of earrings for the gf.

If you wanna know more about the kind of stuff my gf does PM me since I'd rather not post her info publicly here.

yeah! I like the angle of the shot. I talked to the guy for a bit. found out he's been to a bunch of abandon places in the Buffalo area as well since there's tons of those kind things in Buffalo. We both talked about how his inspiration for doing stuff like this was the game STALKER which was pretty awesome.

Discounts on hardware are pretty trivial and they don't get them for employees until later. I just bought one at the store. Discount would only have been like 50 or 100 bucks, and since I bought mine on opening weekend I got an extra year warranty which is probably worth more than 100 bucks anyway.

A new CostCo opened up about 15 minutes away from us. Startlingly tasty South African wines, cave-aged cheddar (where cheddar itself is a rarity in Osaka), and a 24-ct. pack of Kirkland (Gordon Biersch) craft beers are in my possession.

Now just clearing out the crap happo-shuu from my fridge so I can put in fresh bottles.

Not that I saw. There are several Euro brie, goat, and cream cheeses, several types of Sonoma and Tillamook, but I don't recall seeing a Beachers.

It's a seasonal cheese at costco outside of washington. Look for it around october/november time. Flagship is what they usually carry and man does it make for an awesome Mac'n'Cheese.
