^ i'd imagine the only hard parts are the motherboard, cpu, and maybe the power supply so you'll be smooth-sailing now

i've put in a graphics card, ram, sound card by myself...for those ones you just put in the slot and that's it

Hang in there, man. You'll get it done. Computer parts are really sturdy, just focus on keep yourself grounded in terms of static, that shit will put your computer components down for good. However I think that's only if power has been through it previously, so more or less you're totally fine. The most sensitive part, the CPU, is already in and safe, the rest is easy street.

And ChowChow, get a full-size mobo. What you have there is a microATX and it's going to be a pain in the ass in terms of expansion when you start loading it up. Go for an ATX form-factor.

The CPU is the only annoying part because it seems like the most fragile and requires the thermal gel.  The PSU is simple enough, I mean, ignoring how much a pain wire management is.

Man I remember putting my rig together.  Fucking reverse screws on the CPU fan and they tell you that NOWHERE >_<

If anything you try to screw in doesn't screw in, try screwing it in the opposite way!

lol, I remember my first time, cut myself on the I/O panel like a billion times. Drop-kicked my GPU on accident, but it was totally fine. Man, what a cluster-fuck that was.

Yeah you're good. Only over time or if you OC should you apply externally bought thermal paste.

Many people christen their newly built PC by touching their penis to the cpu fan on the first boot. It's for good luck.

IVE FINALLY MANAGED TO BOOT INTO BIOS!!

this is quite the victory for me.

took me awhile to figure out that i needed to plug in some pci cable or whatever the fuck it is into the gfxs card in addition to putting it into the expansion slot.

I think they might have been Japanese.

Late reply, but I'm figuring out what I should do now.  With the exception of motherboard and case, most of what I have in my computer is within a year recent, and I just picked up a new cpu.  Don't know if I should just go ahead and get a new motherboard and case and build a new case with a bunch of parts or keep trying to get more life out of this one.
