Boogie, any incidents so far? Drunk Russia supporters running nekkid around at 1:00 AM?

I don't know much about the goings on in Vancouver (though I don't think there's been any repeat in the protesting thuggery of the first couple days)

Here in Whistler though, everything seems pretty relaxed, haven't heard of any notable incidents here.

Anyway, I finally got onto the mountain to do some skiing.  Absolutely incredible experience.  I've never seen anything that can compare to the vista from atop Blackcomb mountain.

What happened to Romoeren and Ljoekesloy? Used to be pretty damn good.  Another country that cant catch a break is Japan it seems. Poland is crap too except for Malysz, but maybe his coming will spark a bigger interest in the sport.

Romøren has been slipping since last fall and Ljøkelsøy hasn't done shit in forever. Jacobsen was supposed to be able to bring some medals home, but he ain't done too good either.

Our ski team is dog shit too, relying entirely on Northug, who's been under-preforming at every opportunity and Bjørndalen is too old for this shit it seems as he just blew the 15km that just started. Maybe I should pretend to be swedish...

To demonstrate just how popular Kim Yu-na is over here in Korea:

1) I asked my students to write a paragraph about their favorite athlete, and every single one of them wrote about her.
2) The entire faculty came into the teacher's lounge to watch her performance today.
3) The principal let everyone go home early after she won the gold. The guy is normally a stickler for the hours, so this was a big deal.
