i pre-ordered it online and called to cancel friday but gamestop had already put a hold on my card and i was told they had packaged it already so i couldn't cancel.

just another reminder for myself to never pre-order with them and just go with amazon.

they devil tempted me with 25% off orders over a $100 and i bit like a sucka!

We've got to do some more co-op tonight. I'm not getting the hate. Then again I enjoyed the first one.

Same.  The game is a blast.  I spent almost all night playing multiplayer (hit level 16) in between bouts of SSF4, and started campaign with some random players.  I'm not having any problems with the game, but like you I enjoyed the original.  Maybe part of the problem is that people expect the game to play like your typical western-developed shooter, and LP does not.  Payola-Famitsu gave it 8,8,9,8 IIRC.  I'm seeing a few Japanese players (it's not out over there until next week) already on; one guy was already leveled up in the 50s.   :o  Tons of European players too.  The original was the same way.

I finished the campaign last night. When you beat the game you unlock Marcus and Dom from Gears of War and the ability to use your custom character in the campaign instead of the default people. It took maybe 8 hours or so (that's including the time I spent playing with Cravis too though). It's definitely a game that's better than the low reviews it received. I tried a multiplayer match but didn't like it because it was just free-for-all so I'll have to get into a team game sometime tonight. I got all the way up to level 33 with one faction and 29 with another faction just from playing as them in the campaign. :D

You can choose to only do team elimination matches if you want to.  This is one of the few games where I also like team-based matches where everyone starts with sniper rifles...played in a four-on-four match and was able to sneak up on the other team and take them all out with a VS they weren't using that was right near where they were all camping.   :lol  I don't like that ranked only offers three games types.  Player matches have more, but most people seem to be only doing ranked.  Love the "Cube" multiplayer stage.  It's a small-sized map inside an arena, with an audience cheering for you and an announcer making some light commentary.   :lol

That's pretty cool that you can level up from the campaign, too.  Certainly explains all those high-level players I've been seeing!

How do you get Wesker?  Is he a pre-order bonus from somewhere?

That shit makes me worried about Dead Rising 2.
It does look a bit sparse but I think that's the level's design.

I'm not sure about Wesker. I kinda just had him when I started playing. I did play through all of Resident Evil 5 though so I'm not sure if that's what you need to do to get him or not.

I've finished RE5 too.  Is he part of a specific faction?

Try going to the Presets and scrolling all the way down to the bottom. You should have Wesker down there. Maybe even Frank West too if you played Dead Rising.
