that is really nice. One thing I'll never slag apple on is their use of IPS displays in so many products, such better tech than TN for a lot of applications.

Except that AT&T won't allow you to download anything higher than 10MB over 3g. Most good games are way more than 10MB.

it's as if Apple saw the booming e-reader market and just whipped this thing up in a matter of months.

i remember about a year ago Jobs or one of the other Apple execs said how e-readers just weren't gonna be popular enough for Apple to make one because "people don't read books anymore".

Dunno, an upsized iPod touch is pretty overwhelming, but otherwise there's so many things that just can't be done with an iPod's current form factor that I could imagine me using the shit out of it at some point.

Price is less Apple Rape Force than I expected.

I have no opinion about it one way or the other which might just be Apple's worst case scenario.
