So, the rumors are true. Microsoft sent out a media advisory Monday afternoon announcing X10, an expo for showing off upcoming Xbox 360 games and add-ons (that'd be Project Natal) this year.Microsoft hasn't held the big Xbox event since X06 in 2006. X07 was canceled. It ain't CES or PDC or MIX – X10 will run just four hours long on a Thursday afternoon, Feb. 11. It's at the Terra event center in San Francisco. Some notable games on tap: "Alan Wake," "Crackdown 2," "Fable III," "Halo: Reach," "Splinter Cell Conviction," "Final Fantasy XIII" and more.
Final Fantasy 12?

I just hope The Gooch announces his next RPG here.
Aymeric Evennou, Community Developer at Ubisoft, has stated that he is working alongside fellow Community Developer Kimi Matsuzaki on a “thrilling new project.”He follows this by continuing to tease “I’d only say : “Big announcement coming up next week.”and I mean BIG!”We can only speculate that this may be a new title set to be announced at Microsoft’s X10 event, yet as per usual… we’ll have to wait and see! We’d be interested to see whether it is a new title for Project Natal though, or perhaps even a new IP – exciting!

Rare has announced that Perfect Dark for Xbox Live Arcade will be shown off at a Microsoft press event next week.Eurogamer and others have been invited to the X10 event in San Francisco, where we'll also be catching up with other first-party and exclusive third-party Xbox 360 titles."Everyone at X10 will finally have a chance to get hands-on with Joanna - complete with her remastered visuals and silky 60fps frame-rate," Rare wrote in an email. The event takes place on 11th February, but coverage will probably be embargoed.Rare also released a high-definition screenshot of the N64 port. See if you can spot it on this page. I honestly thought he was standing in front of a pool.
Xbox 1 disconnected from Xbox Live on April 15th. That includes Xbox Originals downloaded through the 360 and Halo 2.
Yes
I hope Microsoft announce something new and exciting, apart from GeOW 3 I really can't say I'm looking forward to any other 360 title this year.

Xbox Live - where you want to keep an eye on for the Big announcement
“We’ll have new hotness (or decomposing hotness) on display for Dead Rising 2 and Lost Planet 2 at X10 on Thursday.“
Ubisoft has just announced Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, new game in the famous tactical FPS series. The game is being developed by the Ubisoft France studios, and will be available worldwide by the end of 2010. Moreover, in Summer there'll be an Xbox 360 multiplayer public beta open to every Splinter Cell: Conviction owner.
Ghost Recon has always taken place in the future. I'll assume they'll still try to keep it grounded in reality instead of turning into Halo.
... why would they open it to fans? It's about media coverage, dude.

I'm talking about behind-closed doors bullshit. If you have something to show, show it to everyone. The press doesn't buy your game, the gamers do.
