I'm not even a big fan of FF13, infact, i think it's largely awful (as you can check in the FF13 thread). Paper Mario Wii adds the 3d/2d flip that was frankly pretty poorly done and added very little, the writting took a bit of a step backwards, and there are some truly awful gameplay design points. Everything else was pretty much on par with the GC version.

So it's a wash - PM Wii added a 3d/2d flip that was largely not used to it's potential and felt ultra gimmicky and that's about it. FF13 adds somethings that haven't been done in battles before. I don't see either them as innovative, i do see them both as games i simply couldn't bring myself to finish because they both lacked anything of interest -at all-.

I -do- hear that there is a load of interesting stuff in FF13 near the end but i simply don't have the motivation to play through. Same might be true for the last 1/3 of Paper Mario but again... i just couldn't stomach it.

NSMBwii is just a high-res NSMBds. You can't deny that. I like the game, but I've seen better production values in indie flash games.

And nothing will change your opinion on FFXIII, or the FF franchise in general. You don't have to buy it. Others will.

i was going to make a post about how the game nobody likes is still a million seller (out of curiosity how many million sellers PS3 has in japan? i guess gran turismo?) so tripleA own opinion about what other people think is absolutely right and i'm a complete idiot!
