Holy crap!!!!!

I've done work at a local tv station before for school. They showed us the ropes, how to film, and we edited the content down. They're a pretty nice place, and they happened upon a project where they want local student participation. Now, due to my experience there they've contacted me with a job.

They want me to edit down footage for a 59 minute show and I'll get paid for the job.

I'm excited!

And scared! But mostly excited! They said they'll my name in the credits.

we've got a writer (will) and now a editor (garrett) all we need is a director, sound guy, someone for the soundtrack and we'll have the perfect bore movie. I mean after all we've got more than enough over actors on this forum!!! :p

I used to love editing. Then I found post fx and motion graphics, which was even better. And then I got involved with production, and now I hate it all.

I did editing for a brief moment in time for CBS radio, and it was kind of neat. Not my bag, because of the industry involved - but I hope you enjoy it.

I befriended a producer for the sports programming, and he allowed me to come in to intern. It was short-lived. I didn't like the politics of radio, I was constantly berated, etc.

What's funny is that despite this is nothing but a bunch of boring old people talk it's fun to edit. Editing out fuck ups is great.

My mac can't handle all of this data, though.

I have both a mac and a pc. The mac was gotten specifically for this type of work.

If I could use Final Cut Pro on a pc, I wouldn't have a mac.
