So I'm STILL downloading WoW as we speak; I left the house for a couple hours and came back to notice the download had stopped due to my firewall. Now I'm re-downloading the latest patches.

During the download a note told me that it was a 3.5gb download because it's the FULL game. If this is true, wouldn't I be able to just buy one of those 30 day WoW credit cards and play without having to buy the actual game? AUHAHAHAHA Blizzard am duped

What I DO recommend is picking up the 2 dollar 'demo disc' for WoW since its a DVD with all of WoW unlike the boxed retail which is four CDS :9

How do you like that Blizzard torrent? The only torrent in the world that gets slower with higher traffic. They are bringing innovation to how we play PC games.

Played for a couple minutes and then exited the game. Nothing impressed me meh. But it was late, so I'll try again tomorrow when I'm fully awake.

I want a game where it feels like a I have real time 120% control of my character's actions in combat, plus a massive multiplayer world.

I love how he informs us of his objective opinion of the game by demanding an unrealstic percentage of control. Especially using such a broad term as 'control'. One could argue a developer has more control over a character than the end user.

However I will note that both Guild Wars AND WoW have an unprecidented level of control. I dare the haters to go back and play 'What Came Before' and then poo poo WoW or Guild Wars. The only one that comes close is Dark Age of Camelot and that's cause WoW took pretty much every good idea they had and ran a little further with it

That being said a thread like this with a response like his latest only goes to show that he is hating on the game for the sake of having something to post about.

I spent like 20 minutes creating a character lol. Since I'm a WoW noob, my judgement was based entirely on what looked the coolest. So my paladin is very tanned, but he has a hair and a beard white as snow.

The nightelves look sweet too.

I'm in Bladefest or something like that
