I woke up this morning unable to hear from my left ear. I've had this problem before and it never wound up going away without seeing a doctor. Now I'm going to one later today, which will be the first time I've been to one in years (the last time, funny enough was for the same reason), and I doesn't has insurance! I was hoping to ride this thing out until something got passed, but alas.  :'(

Went to a doctor, and he cleaned out my ears. All for the lowlowlow price of $200. On the plus side, I got 20/20 hearing again.

My last trip to a Korean doctor: $16. Total time spent in waiting room: 4 minutes. My last trip to a Korean pharmacy: $3 for 3 meds for 5 days.

My last trip to a US doctor, uninsured: $379. Total time spent in waiting room: 3.25 hours. Total time spent in office with doctor: 7 minutes. Total time spent waiting for doctor, in office: 45 minutes. Last trip to a pharmacy: $117 for 1 med for 5 days.

This happened to me and I went to the walk-in clinic. I forgot to check if the doctor was under my plan (he wasn't) and I had to pay 120 dollars. To have my ear cleaned out.
