Man, I don't know the guy personally but his two sons have to destroyed. :'(

I really liked him on Deadliest Catch, reminded me of a teacher I had in college. All of the scenes between him and his sons were great too.

It's not too surprising given his penchant for smoking like a chimney and barely eating while at sea, and after he nearly died from the blood clot. Still sad to see him go though.  :(

He was one of the more memorable characters. RIP Phil.  :'(
