Sure, but that's part of being on the leading edge of fashion - you have to do stuff that's "crazy" to push it forward. No need to like everything a designer does.

I think you have to be pushing the limits of design to understand what works best about the classic styles and make them feel fresh again. saying "everyone just dress like they're an extra on Mad Men" isn't really gonna be interesting for more than a few days.

He also has a lot of really good conservative styles along with his crazy runway shows.
