Since Iwata-san broke his silence about his new baby today, we’d like
to share with the world what we know about the project internally
called ‘dawn’ or ‘dwn’. Last week we received information and a
picture of one of their few prototypes being used for demo purposes
right now. As we understand it, it will debut at E3 and it will NOT
replace the current DS models.

-amazingly sleek and lightweight
-screen covers the whole system
-bezel is made of frosted glass (works like Ambilight, but can be
directly manipulated)
-STUNNING display (custom AMOLED by Samsung)
-no cartridge slot (either that's a dev only thingy or it's going to
be a DD only system like the GO)
-powered by a one-chip solution by nVidia
-‚clicky’ digital stick and two unlabeled facebuttons which are placed
above the screen; no other buttons; no 3.5 jack either; nothing!
-same gyro as motion+
-some kind of touchscreen, but from what we’ve heard it’s a joke - it’s
so imprecise you can’t use it like a regular touchscreen
-no audio output (yet)
-mini USB
-WLAN a/b/g/n
-RFID reader (speculated)
