Particle, this is how I interpret yours:

When you were a kid, you used to get beat up a lot.  But then the power rangers showed up to save you.  But then they took off their costumes and it turned out it was just 'N Sync dressed up as the power rangers.  Which broke your heart.  So you went back home to listen to Linkin Park.

Nsync was a great part of my childhood. It made me popular with women.

I understand completely.
I think a lot of girls like me as a friend cus they think I'm gay, too.

how old is pd again? pokemon was fucking awesome when it came out then around the time of the card game it turned into a guilty pleasure and if you were normal you rapidly lost interest, power rangers was always wack, ALWAYS, i remember watching the very first episode while cringing my way through a bowl of cereal

I'm 22. I had a blast with Pokemon for a long time. Haters gonna hate, but summers with Pokemon were classic. I'd wake up, get my gameboy and cards, and literally go door to door challenging people in my suburb.

Power Rangers was amazing to me as a kid. My cousin's boyfriend taped most of the early episodes and gave them to me lol.

Did anyone else wake up early on saturday to watch cartoons? I'd get up around 6am. The cartoons started at like 8am; Star Trek Next Generation and Golden Girls re-runs would help me waste the time. The early cartoons were pretty badass, like the Sonic cartoon; not the gay one, but a grittier one. The premier Saturday content:

-Batman
-X-Men
-Goosebumps
-Spiderman
-Power Rangers

And later, Pokemon.

Then I'd go out and play basketball and come back in the afternoon just in time for Xena and Hercules :bow

The globe is about all the traveling I did a as kid. Lots of time spent in Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
The Challenger patch is because I went to Dick Scobee Elementary, named after the commander of the Challenger who went to the school. We had tons of astronauts and people from NASA visiting all time because of that, and I was heavily involved in all of it. I even went to Space Camp in fourth grade.

That show was pretty badass.

And Hercules and Xena were both good in the early seasons, but they got distinguished mentally-challenged before the end. Xena was particularly offensive with its timeline. Apparently King David of Israel and Julius Caesar lived in the same era.

As cool as traveling is (my family went to Hungary and Romania when I was around 8 ), I hate that parents are always so ready to travel when you're a child and you forget it all later, instead of in your teens when you'll remember it forever. Imo, as a kid, you don't really appreciate all the wonder. My brother and I didn't, at least. We were just looking for the McDonald's.

I remember everything about those early travels (Europe and Israel when I was 5 and 6, Australia when I was 10), actually. I feel that I really did appreciate the experience, it gave me a very different perspective on the world in comparison to my peers.

I also went back to Europe and Israel (volunteered on a Kibbutz the summer before my senior year of high school) in my late teens, which was a lot of fun.
